The <strong>Mediterranean Forum<\/strong>, held in Marseille from November 18 to 20, 2024, was one of the key moments of the project. It was part of the <strong>Working Group 5 (WG5)<\/strong> dedicated to capitalization, dialogue, and advocacy. This session focused on the central theme:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;Challenges and prospects for Energy Climate Service governance in the Mediterranean: what management model for sustainability?&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The discussions enriched reflections on governance approaches tailored to local and regional realities, to ensure the sustainable deployment of SLEC across the Mediterranean. This roundtable was <strong>very rich in exchanges<\/strong>, with speakers providing <strong>valuable insights and action perspectives<\/strong> on this crucial subject of <strong>SLEC governance<\/strong>. This <strong>innovative educational project<\/strong>, representing a territorial ambition combining <strong>social and academic diversity<\/strong>, was presented by <strong>Ms. Isabelle NEGREL<\/strong>, the school principal, with <strong>Mr. Poisson<\/strong>, professor of Arabic. It was emphasized that the school is an exemplary <strong>eco-friendly building<\/strong> with a <strong>sustainable learning environment<\/strong>. This session allowed for a <strong>thorough dialogue<\/strong> between municipalities, regional representatives, and Mediterranean networks around <strong>flagship projects<\/strong> related to <strong>energy efficiency<\/strong> and <strong>decarbonization<\/strong>. Discussions addressed key issues such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Funding opportunities<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>Available <strong>technical expertise<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li><strong>Steps and success factors<\/strong> of SLECs,<\/li>\n<li><strong>Monitoring and evaluation tools and methodologies<\/strong> to be adopted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The workshop led to a series of <strong>key recommendations<\/strong> to support the development of an <strong>action plan<\/strong> for the implementation and follow-up of <strong>Local Energy-Climate Services<\/strong>.
